- Are students required to live on campus?+-
一道本不卡免费高清Mount Saint Mary’s University strongly encourages all admitted students to apply for on-campus housing for their first year of school. You’ll have closer access to everything, as you meet new friends and more quickly become part of the Mount community. However, MSMU does not require first-year students to live on campus.
- How do I apply for housing? +-
一道本不卡免费高清Once you have been admitted, you will first need to pay your $200 tuition deposit to secure your spot in the class. Once your tuition deposit is processed, you will be able to submit a $200 housing deposit. The housing application will be available 24 hours later in your MSMU Admitted Student Portal. Housing requests are filled on a first-come, first-served basis so submit your application as soon as possible.
- When can I move in? +-
一道本不卡免费高清Move-in dates and times vary with the start of each semester. For the 2019 – 2020 academic year, move in day for new students for the fall semester is Saturday, August 24, 2019. Please be sure to check your MSMU email for important notifications.
- What is provided and what should I bring? +-
Rooms are furnished with a bed frame, extra-long twin size mattress, desk and desk chair for each student. Dressers, wardrobes and closets may need to be shared. View our checklist 一道本不卡免费高清of items you may want to bring.
- What kind of food is served?+-
一道本不卡免费高清The cafes at both our Chalon and Doheny campuses offer a variety of healthy options to meet students’ needs and preferences. Farm-to-fork options, grilled-to-order dishes and made-from-scratch soups are some popular choices. Residents can choose from various meal plans.
- Is it safe?+-
一道本不卡免费高清Absolutely. Campus Security patrols both campuses, including our parking lots, 24/7. Access to both campuses is constantly monitored for a safe living and learning environment.
- Can resident students bring their cars to campus? +-
Sophomore, Junior and Senior residents may park their cars on campus with the purchase of a parking permit. First-year residents cannot park their cars on campus unless they are granted an appeal by the Parking Committee.
- Can I have guests visit me at school?+-
Yes, guests may visit residents on campus. Guests of the opposite gender are welcome inside residence halls Sunday – Thursday 10AM – 12AM and Friday – Saturday 10AM – 2AM. Guests who are 14 years and older of the same gender may stay overnight in your room for no more than three consecutive nights per month.
- Can I bring my pets to live with me?+-
一道本不卡免费高清MSMU does not allow pets to live on campus except for fish in tanks of 5-gallons or less. Should you require a service animal, please contact Residence Life directly regarding policies.
- Are there any other rules I should know about?+-
Our Student Handbook is published and posted online at the start of every school year. Residents will receive a copy when they move in, and your Resident Assistant (RA) will go over policies during your first floor meeting.
