MSMU’s PsyD program, however, is not currently accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). Our intention is to apply for “accredited, on contingency” status in spring 2021, which is the soonest we can do so according to the APA’s Commission on Accreditation. Our curriculum was designed to be aligned with the APA’s accreditation standards via the “Standards of Accreditation in Health Service Psychology” (SoA). 一道本不卡免费高清The APA states that if a student completes a program that is recognized as “accredited, on contingency” effective before one’s graduation date, the student will have completed an APA accredited program.
We will subsequently be applying for “accredited” status as soon as we are eligible to apply for this final step in the accreditation process (which will require distal data from students who have actually completed the program). There is no guarantee, however, that our program will be accredited by the APA.
